What is Re-piping? Re-piping means replacing the plumbing systems (water supply, drains or gas). This replacement process is referred to as a ?repipe? or "re-piping?. The re-piping process can also be referred to as new piping, re-plumbing, re-plumb and piping replacement. In California re-piping and re-pipe is part of the plumbing C-36 license classification.
